Feature of Inflatable Boats

Inflatable boats are lightweight boats that are constructed using flexible tubes containing pressurized gas. These boats are convenient for transport in case of emergencies or short distance manoeuvering.

In addition, inflatable boats are lightweight and can be deflated for convenient storage and easy transportation. Made with durable inflatable boat fabric, they are commonly used as life rafts on ships and aircraft, as well as for recreational activities.
Over the years, leading to the development of the modern inflatable boats, numerous upgrades have been made in the appearance and fabric used to build them. The modern-day inflatable boats are versatile, the most popular among them being Rigid Inflatable boats and Soft Inflatable Boats.

There are two major types of materials used in tubes, which are PVC and Hypalon.

• Revolutionary stainless steel Tube Transom®
• Open transom and raised floor keeps the water out and the floor dry
• Aerodynamic tapered bow design to get over the top of rough and choppy waters
• Shallow Draft: A huge advantage when crossing shallow water and also provides the ability to get further up the beach or ramp before the hull of the boat grounds
• Takacats original on / off bow design for safety and convenience
• Heavy-duty under-tube protection
• Single seam design joint by chemical bonding gluing system ideal for foldable inflatables
• 2 x air pressure release valves
• Additional reinforcing & protective layer over single tube seam. Parallel on each tube.
• External oar rowlocks and Velcro straps
• External safety grab handles
• Inflatable float seat
• Internal safety grab handle
• 4 external lifting handles
• All Takacats into Australia have fully welded seams seams on tubes and glued seams on the airdecks
