A suspended structure is a structure which is supported by cables coming from beams or trusses which sit atop a concrete center column or core. The design allows the walls, roof and cantilevered floors to be supported entirely by cables and a center column.

They are more convenient and economical.Because of its lightweight structure, the architect gets to blend the old and new architecture to create a masterpiece! Most of the commercial structures like restaurants, walkways, arenas, retail outlets and universities prefer tensile membrane structures because it’s easy, and can be installed very quickly.
