Applications of Oil Booms

Our range of oil booms is designed to meet various spill containment requirements during oil leaks or spills. Each containment boom is made with durable PVC fabric for oil booms, providing reliable resistance to oil, water, and prolonged UV exposure for effective performance in demanding environments.

For longer term containment needs, we offer a permanent boom made with steel and capable of lasting six times longer than standard booms for harsher ourdoor conditions.

Standard booms feature foam filled floats, impermeable PVC fabric, and a bottom ballast. Tension cables may be added to help keep booms in place in moving water conditions, and booms must always have proper anchoring systems to ensure product success.

Due to the compact nature of the coiled boom, fence oil spill boom are often implemented around ports, harbors, marinas, docks, and other locations in need of emergency response equipment.

Often used in combination with boom reels, absorbents and skimmers, fence boom can deploy quickly to surround and contain spills.
